NOTICE FOR AGM OF OTA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION CHENNAI

15 SEP 2023

Dear Members/ Alumni

1. Please be informed that the Annual General Meeting of the OTA Alumni Association, Chennai will be held on 15 Sep 2023 in the Chanakya Auditorium at Officers Training Academy, Chennai. Details are as under :-

• The meeting will commence at 1730 h.
• Alumni are requested to be seated by 1715h.
• Attendance will be restricted to registered members of the Alumni Association. All alumni of

Golden/Silver Jubilee courses may attend. However, it is requested that max offrs of these courses who are not yet members should try and become members before the AGM. If a resolution is to be adopted only members are permitted to vote.

• Dress will be shirt and OTA tie/spl Jubilee tie for courses celebrating Golden/Silver

Jubilee  if such a tie has been made by the courses concerned.

2. The broad agenda for the above meeting will be as under :-

• Opening address by the Hon’y President
• Progress on minutes of AGM held on 05 Nov 2022.
• Passing of minutes.
• Statement and discussion of accts.
• Passing of accts.
• Discussion on points received from members.
• Open House discussion.
• Points from Executive Committee.
• Address by the Patron.
• Vote of thanks by Hon’y Vice President.

3. Members are requested to forward agenda points to OTA Alumni Association by post or Email by 25 Aug 2023. Please note that the agenda points should be brief and applicable to all members.
4. Outstation attendees are requested to make their own arrangements for accommodation and transport.
5. The AGM will be followed by the Annual Alumni Association Dinner to be held at Yoddha Cadets Mess. Please note that children are not permitted for the dinner except for Courses celebrating their Silver/ Golden Jubilees.
6. Confirmation of attendance of AGM and dinner to be sent by Email to Secretary OTAAA by 05 Sep 2023 as per following format :-

• Rank and name
• Course
• OTAAA membership number
• Spouse attending/ not attending
• Food preference ie veg/non veg
